As late spring pushed well into summer we were all blessed with some very fine weather.....where has it gone now?

Thank goodness for pictures. On arrival to the riverside parking my spirits were lifted as I turned to face this stunning Wisteria ,  full flowers draping down in perfect form...  Fishing is going to be perfect today !

Clear running water from the river Test reflect the challenges that lay ahead for today's anger.  While you will certainly see your trout,  rest assured they will have see you. 

Making  a slow walk up the beat I tend to walk the complete run , resiting  the ever present temptation to cast at the first fish I see.

Make a mental note or use some of the natural land marks to target your fish, Trout are cunning fish that prefer to wait for their food  items to come to them in or on the flow.

With a few careful well placed casts the rewards can be awesome
