Finally a glint in the weather, timing could not be better as a group of very keen fishers arrived at the water. On an overcast morning rising temperatures were soon to invoke some lively hatches of olives and buzzers. As the morning progressed and lunch met afternoon, the first of the seasons Mayfly started to break the surface film....although not for long as the hungry and determined trout that had been waiting patiently were soon to chase and finally engulf the offering before it could meet flight.
