With high pressure stable (at least until the weekend) the fishing gets better by the day. Snook are busy doing their thing and being so smart will often ignore any fly placed right on the nose, however, introduce the daily Jack attacks on the rising tide, and the water simply boils.
These attacks can last just seconds but with the bait balls in such abundance the Jacks will pound the surface some time , today's fly was a new test sample that I tied prior to my departure from the UK. Having only tied two of these flies, one of which was totally destroyed today I will try again tomorrow, before true bragging rights can be established.
